Studio Rotgans is the alias of Amsterdam based photographer Michiel Rotgans. Spending years winding, shooting and developing film taught him the do's and dont's of photography.
Pushing a new generation of photographers with mobile flash studio's, efficient post production software and full frame 20+ megapixel DSLR camera's Michiel still pays attention to the aesthetics and essentials of capturing light and does what it need to stand out from the crowds.
Michiel is often mentioned as a true all rounder and organically forms and adapts to the specific requests of an assignment. Michiel has backgrounds in multiple design area’s like graphic-, interaction- and web design and can approach requests with a broad, multiple angle view.
Studio Rotgans has a very strong base in action sports, but mostly work in areas much broader than this.
